I paint mostly in acrylic... I paint because because I love color. The main theme in most of my work is to think beyond the content or the subject matter as it is and should be an afterthought to the overal imagery and feeling of a piece. The subject can deprive the viewer from personalizing with a piece, reacting to the color and shapes. Most of my work is 30x40 and when I do work in smaller sizes I feel restricted by the space… the effect is lost a little. If you’d like to see more of my work please contact me.
